Return & Refund Policy

At Krivis Nook, every product is carefully packed and quality-checked before dispatch. We have a fair and transparent policy to protect both our customers and our business. Please read this policy carefully before raising any request.

1 When a Refund is Applicable

We offer a cash refund or reversal to your original payment method only in the following two situations where the fault lies entirely with Krivis Nook:

  • Wrong item sent: You received a product completely different from what you ordered
  • Order not delivered: Your order was not delivered within the committed delivery window and is confirmed as lost by the courier partner

In all other situations — including change of mind, personal preference, or buyer's remorse — no cash refund will be issued.

2 Damaged Product — Store Credits

If you receive a damaged product, we do not issue a cash refund. Instead, after verifying the damage through our inspection process, we will issue Krivis Nook Store Credits to your account equal to the value of the damaged item.

To report a damaged product:

  • Email us at support@krivisnook.com with subject line "Damaged Item — Order #[your order number]"
  • Attach clear videographs and photographs of the damaged product and its packaging
  • Reports must be raised within 48 hours of delivery — claims after this window will not be accepted

Our team will review your photos and videos within 2–3 business days. On approval, store credits will be added to your account and confirmed via email or WhatsApp.

3 Store Credits — Terms of Use

Store credits issued by Krivis Nook are governed by the following terms:

  • Credits are equal in value to the damaged product's purchase price, in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • Credits are linked to your registered email address or Krivis Nook account
  • Credits can be applied at checkout toward the full or partial value of any future order
  • If your order value is less than the credit amount, the remaining balance stays in your account until expiry
  • If your order value exceeds the credit amount, the balance must be paid via a standard payment method
  • Credits cannot be combined with other promotional discount codes unless explicitly stated by us

4 Store Credits — Expiry

Store credits are valid for 3 calendar months from the date of issuance. The exact expiry date will be communicated in the credit confirmation message.

⚠ Important Store credits that are not redeemed within 3 months will expire automatically. Expired credits cannot be recovered, reinstated, extended, or transferred under any circumstances. No exceptions will be made.

It is the customer's sole responsibility to use store credits before the expiry date. Krivis Nook accepts no liability for expired credits due to any reason including non-use, forgotten credits, or failure to receive reminder notifications.

As a courtesy, we will attempt to send a reminder notification approximately 30 days before expiry. Failure to receive this reminder does not extend the validity period or entitle the customer to reinstatement of credits.

5 Store Credits — Restrictions

  • Store credits are strictly personal to the customer to whom they were issued
  • Credits cannot be transferred to another customer, account, or email address
  • Credits cannot be converted into cash, bank transfer, or any other monetary form
  • Credits cannot be sold, gifted, or shared in any form
  • Partially used credits retain their original expiry date — the expiry is not reset on use

6 What is NOT Eligible

The following are not eligible for a refund or store credits under any circumstance:

  • Items reported after 48 hours of delivery
  • Products that have been used, washed, assembled, or altered after receipt
  • Damage caused by mishandling, improper use, or negligence by the customer
  • Minor natural variations in handcrafted and artisanal products such as texture, colour tone, or weave pattern — these are inherent characteristics, not defects
  • Sale or discounted items, unless received in a genuinely damaged or defective condition
  • Change of mind or personal dissatisfaction with a product that matches its description

7 Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch only. Contact us immediately at our email or WhatsApp with your order number and a full refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible. You may raise a damage claim upon delivery if applicable.

Krivis Nook reserves the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the customer.

8 Fraud Prevention

Krivis Nook reserves the right to reject any damage claim if there is reasonable suspicion of fraud, manipulation of photographs, videographs or misrepresentation of the product's condition. In such cases, no store credits will be issued and the account may be flagged. We take the integrity of our claims process seriously to protect our business and genuine customers.

9 Disputes

Any disputes regarding store credits or refund decisions must be raised within 7 days of receiving the credit confirmation or refund decision. After 7 days, the decision is considered accepted. Disputes can be raised by writing to us with your order number and full details.
