India's first Japandi × Indian fusion home decor brand.

Our Story  ·  Krivis Nook

Your grandmother's home
had no mood board.
No aesthetic. No designer.
And yet it felt like
nowhere else on earth.

The brass diya placed every evening without thinking. The worn wooden tray that held everything. The way that home breathed. You have been trying to recreate that feeling ever since — and finding only white walls.

What We Lost

Indian homes today all look the same. White walls with nothing behind them. Beige sofas. Imported aesthetics that could have been anywhere — Stockholm, Singapore, or Surat. Beautiful on camera. Empty in person. Somewhere in chasing what looked modern, we lost what made our homes ours.

We traded soul for aesthetic. And our homes have felt like strangers ever since.

"India was always minimal, always intentional, always soulful — long before the world had words for it. We didn't need to learn this. We needed to remember it."

What We Built

India's First  ·  Japandi × Indian Fusion

Something India had
never seen before.

We took the soul of Indian craft — artisans whose hands carry what cannot be taught, only inherited — and styled it through the world's most quietly beautiful design language. Japandi. The meeting of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth. Two philosophies that, like India, have always believed less is infinitely more.

Indian craft that doesn't scream India. It whispers it. Modern without forgetting where it came from. Minimal without losing its soul.

The Design Language

Japandi is a harmony of two ancient ways of living beautifully. At Krivis Nook, we bring the third.

Japandi is not just an aesthetic. It is a philosophy. The white breathes because of what sits beside it — brass, clay, linen, wood. Warmth earned, not applied.

Japanese

Wabi-Sabi

Beauty in imperfection. Reverence for the handmade. Things that deepen with age.

+

Scandinavian

Hygge

Warmth, cosiness, humanity. A home that holds you. Simple, honest, lived-in.

+

Indian

Craft Heritage

Soulful, rooted, alive with the touch of human hands across generations. The third layer that makes Krivis Nook unlike anything else in the world.

Calm like Japan. Warm like Scandinavia. Rooted like India. There is nothing else like this. Because nobody built it before us.

How We Curate

We don't just sell décor.
We curate homes.

Every object is held, considered, questioned — does it earn its place? Will it last? Does it carry something real? We edit with intention so your home can stop performing and start feeling.

Rooted in India, always. But we curate without borders — because a soulful home deserves the finest craft, wherever it lives. Indian soul. Global craft where the home demands it.

01

Clay & Terracotta

Indian earth, Indian hands. Ages into something more beautiful every year.

02

Brass & Copper

Cast the slow way. Deepens with every touch.

03

Wood & Linen

Honest, natural, unhurried. Nothing synthetic, ever.

04

Glass

Sourced from where this craft is finest. Same standard as everything we carry.

A Note From The Founders

"We walked into beautiful home after beautiful home in India and felt nothing. Not because they weren't lovely. But because India had disappeared from them.

We grew up around brass, old wood, grandmothers who never used the word aesthetic — they just knew what belonged. India has always been a land of extraordinary craft. And yet we were watching it quietly disappear from our own homes, replaced by white walls and imported aesthetics that could have been anywhere. Somewhere along the way, we had forgotten who we were.

It made us sad. Then angry. Then we built Krivis Nook.

For every Indian who grew up around beauty made by hand — and never stopped looking for it."
